Legacy Medical Transit currently operates as a private-pay transportation service. We do not bill Medi-Cal, Medicare, or private insurance directly. However, we provide detailed invoices and receipts that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement depending on your coverage.

The Broda® Traversa Transport Chair is a specialized medical transport seat designed for passengers who cannot sit upright in a standard wheelchair or require additional support during transport. It features tilt-in-space positioning, enhanced cushioning, and full-body support for comfort and safety. This chair is used in our Stretcher-Lite service tier, offering a dignified alternative to ambulance transport when medical monitoring is not required.

Cancellations made with reasonable advance notice (typically 24 hours or more) are not subject to a fee. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a charge to cover reserved vehicle and driver time. Specific policy details are provided when your ride is scheduled.
